The Music Grades, ranging from Initial Grade to Grade 8, provide a structured pathway for students to develop technical proficiency and artistic expression through progressively challenging repertoire and technical work.
For advanced musicians, Trinity College London offers Music Diplomas at three distinguished levels: ATCL (Associate), LTCL (Licentiate), and FTCL (Fellowship), with the FTCL being equivalent to a Master's Degree in Music.
In addition to performance-based assessments, learners can pursue Theory of Music qualifications from Grade 1 to Grade 8, as well AMus (Associate) and LMus (Licentiate) at diploma levels. These qualifications are designed to deepen theoretical understanding and complement practical skills, in order to foster well-rounded musicianship.
