การสอบทฤษฎีดนตรี Theory of Music

Our Theory of Music syllabus responds to modern teaching and learning styles, with workbooks presenting the study of musical theory in bright and practical formats for both student and teacher. Studying for Theory exams helps you progress more quickly on your instrument and gain a broad understanding of classical music.
Main features:
- Available for Grades 1-8, as written examinations
- Held twice a year at centres worldwide, on a Saturday in early May and early November
- Comprehensive and carefully incremented approach to the technical language of music, supported by approachable workbooks
- A solid foundation in music literacy: the conventions of Western music notation, melody, rhythm and harmony
- Knowledge of music history, form and instrumental capabilities
- Diplomas available at AMusTCL and LMusTCL; see the Diplomas page
- Certificates recognised under Ofqual and UCAS
Although there are no theory prerequisites for taking any Trinity College London practical graded exam, theoretical musical knowledge works to enhance and support practical studies.
